From Nancy Schimelpfening, your Guide to Depression
We often think of postpartum depression as being a woman's condition, especially given the fact that it is often related to the hormonal fluctuations that women go through when bearing a child. New research indicates, however, that about one in ten new fathers will become depressed, either during their significant other's pregnancy or within the year following the birth of their child, showing that depression can also be related to the stresses associated with having a new child. Are you a man who experienced depression related to the arrival of a new child? Or maybe you know a man who did? Share Your Experiences

Poses & Workouts

From Ann Pizer, your Guide to Yoga
Despite yoga's reputation for being old, most of what we experience in a contemporary yoga class is actually comparatively new. Yoga asana practice is always evolving as new styles emerge to meet the interest of the modern yoga student. Let's take a look at some of the newest kids on the block.

Moksha Yoga
Moksha Hot Yoga was founded in Toronto, Canada in 2004 by yoga teachers Ted Grant and Jessica Robertson. Though a relative newcomer, Moksha has quickly gained popularity as over 30 affiliated studios have since opened worldwide.

Yogitoes Skidless Mat Towel
Chances are if you go to a Moksha Yoga class, or any other hot yoga class for that matter, you will see a lot of these brightly colored mat-sized towels. While purists still prefer Ashtanga rugs, those who like to be on the leading edge swear by their Yogitoes.

Drishti Yoga Quiz Cards App
A new entry in the yoga app marketplace, Drishti Yoga Quiz Cards change it up by allowing your to test your knowledge of pose names in English and Sanskrit. I actually find this game really relaxing.

Pose of the Week - Camel Pose - Ustrasana
To get a sense of your alignment in camel pose, it helps to use a wall. First come to kneel facing the wall, with your thighs touching the wall. As you lean into your backbend, keep the thighs on the wall. Most people have a tendency to let the thighs shift back in order to be able to grab the ankles. Don't let this be you! Keep your thighs on the wall, even if it means you're not going as deep as you have before.
