Frankly, as a married person, I say that? Is something I'm not even going to touch. The thing is, we can't control other people. We try, of course. We can ask, beg, nag or try to guilt people into doing things but, in the end, if someone doesn't want to do something, there's not a whole lot you can do. It has to be their decision. A better question is - what shouldn't you do? Because this can be a minefield if you don't handle it right.
