When I first did an article on women's yoga pants, I got more than a few responses from men who wanted the same attention paid to their yoga wardrobe. Well, it took awhile but I'm coming back strong with a look at the best men's yoga pants, and, since many seem to prefer them, shorts. A little updating on the women's pants recommendations means there is something here for everyone.

Yoga Pants for Men
Sure, you can do yoga in your old sweatpants from college or worn-out swim trunks, but for those men looking for yoga pants designed just for men, here are some of the most stylish and functional options available.

Yoga Shorts for Men
Do you wear short shorts? If you do Bikram yoga, the answer is probably yes (unless you are wearing a Speedo, not that there's anything wrong with that). Followers of other yoga styles tend to like their shorts a little longer, so here's a range of styles for men, from the long and baggy to the short and tight.

Pose of the Week - Reclined Big Toe Pose
Here's a little supta padangusthasana series I've been enjoying lately.

1. Begin lying on your back with your right leg up straight, using a strap to hold your foot if necessary.

2. Bring the strap into your right hand and extend the right leg to your right, towards the floor and your right shoulder. Move your hand down the strap to get a nice stretch.

3. Come back to center and then move the strap into your left hand. Bring your right leg over to the left side now. It's ok to roll a little to the left as you bring your left foot toward the floor.

4. Come back to center, marvel that your right leg is now longer than your left, and then repeat on the left side.
