A Note From Simla

Simla
Hi Azriel ,

Happy Valentine's Day! Depending on the state of couple-dom you're in, you may have either been looking forward to it or dreading it, based on conventional thinking. As you may have already realized, I'm not much of a conventional thinker. So I'm going to suggest that you make this Valentine's Day all about YOU no matter what else is going on in your life.

In this month's article Will You Be Your Valentine? 3 Tips for Practicing the Art of Self Love, I turn Valentine's Day upside down and give you some food for thought around how to give love to yourself for some feel-good results.

Today's recipe is an easy and decadent one packed with love, antioxidants and deliciousness you can feel good about: Decadent Coconut Chocolate Pudding. Share it with that special someone. Don't have a special someone? Even better... more for you!

On another note: Spring is right around the corner! Are you ready to...

...be rid of your love handles, for good?

...shed the winter blahs, amp up your energy, and strengthen your immune system so you can say good-bye to getting all the colds that come around?

...get your chronic health issues under control and start feeling good again?

Then it could be time to take advantage of your complimentary initial session with me and step into Spring feeling slimmer, energized, and just plain good. Just email me at Simla@EnjoyDeliciousHealth.com and we'll get that set up.

To your delicious heath,

Will You Be Your Valentine? 3 Tips for Practicing the Art of Self Love

by Simla Somturk Wickless, MBA, CHC, CNE

 Strong, Sexy and Satisifed Program

Valentine's Day. We hear it and tend to associate the day with having a sweetheart to dote on. And, depending on our state of happy couple-dom or lack thereof, we either glow with anticipation or want to shrivel up and disappear in a corner somewhere.

What if none of that mattered?

What if your sweetheart was YOU? And you treated yourself like the love of your life?

Super easy to make, this pudding combines the luxurious pleasure of dark chocolate with the richness of coconut milk for a decadently delicious - and healthy! - dessert that's perfect as you curl up on the couch after dinner or as a treat when you take a break from work or busy-ness during the late afternoon.

Not to mention, it's perfect as a Valentine's Day dessert if you're having dinner at home.

Women Beekeeper Entrepreneurs in Eastern Turkey

I met Cat at a coffeeshop in Boulder recently because she was wearing a t-shirt that said "Istanbul" and I asked if she was Turkish-American, like me. She's not but speaks Turkish beautifully. Go figure.

That wasn't the only thing that blew me away about Cat.

Her social entrepreneurship endeavor, Balyolu, has me in awe of her imagination and drive. Balyolu was created to train and empower women beekeepers in rural Eastern Turkey and - get this - provide a walking honey-tasting tour of the area, which also allows you to experience the nomadic lifestyle and beauty of the region. Basically, my dream trip.

Right now, Balyolu is raising funds. Go here to pledge as little as $1 or purchase your spot on their 7-day tour before Sunday, February 26, to help them secure $35,000 in startup funding.

Read more on Balyolu's eZine. Cat says it much better than I can!
