Pose of the Week: Eight Angle Pose - Astavakrasana
I'm going to buck the trend here a little bit. In the winter, especially around the holidays, I always hear a lot about how you should do poses that are super grounding, like a lot of standing poses. And I'm all for that if you are feeling fidgety or about to fly off the handle. But I'm feeling like I've done so much grounding lately that I'm about to sink into the earth. I'm craving postures that make me feel light and strong. Like astavakrasana. If that seems a little too crazy, try elephant's trunk as a point of entry.
