From Laura Dolson, your Guide to Low Carb Diets

Are you feeling deprived because people are eating candy all around you?  Here are some ideas for easy low-carb desserts and treats, so you won't be so tempted to sneak a few candies from that bowl at work.  Happy Halloween, everyone!  Laura

Instant Pumpkin Pudding

Sugar-free instant vanilla pudding mix, canned pumpkin, spices = done!  Not super low-carb, but at 8 grams it's a lot better than candy!

Chocolate Pecan Torte
You can mix this up in 5 minutes, then bake for half an hour and you're done.  You can also make it in a square pan and cut it into brownie-like bars.

No-Bake Cheesecake

One of the most popular recipes on the site. Very simple recipe, with suggestions for different toppings.

Panna Cotta

Panna cotta is a very simple dessert to make, although it's not super-fast, because it's gelatin-based, so it takes time to fully set.  It can be flavored in many ways. This is a basic vanilla panna cotta -- I like it with berries or a berry sauce.
