A drug once thought very promising for treatment of Alzheimer's was shown to be ineffective in clinical trials, a discouragement for the scientific community and for all those affected by this disease. On the positive side, the United States launched a draft of the National Plan on Alzheimer's Disease. This is a critical step in the fight against this disease.
