From Pam Stephan, your Guide to Breast Cancer
I hate cancer - any type, any form! So when I saw that the American Cancer Society was co-publisher on a new book about lowering your cancer risk, I had to read it. It's a good book, easy to read, understand, and use.

Reduce Your Cancer Risk
Reduce Your Cancer Risk is a book that delivers on its title. Written by a health journalist and an oncologist - both with a personal and professional interest in cancer - this book gives you a risk-reducing plan. It won't be easy, because you may have to make some challenging changes - but a lower cancer risk is worth the effort! Here's my review of this book.

Three Big Changes To Lower Cancer Risk
We need to crush out all our cigarettes, eat smaller portions of healthier foods, and stop being couch potatoes. Research shows that deaths from cancer can be prevented or reduced by adopting healthier lifestyles - a wonderful promise, one that many of us might like to adopt!

Lycopene Colors You Healthy
Lycopene makes tomatoes red, inhibits tumors, and acts as an antioxidant. The FDA even studied lycopene to see if the claims about lycopene and cancer were true! The good news is this: if you consume tomato sauce - think low-fat pizza or spaghetti sauce over whole wheat pasta - you're getting the best dose of lycopene that your body can use. Healthy and inexpensive - a great combination!

Free Healing For Your Body, Mind, and Spirit
Part of lowering your cancer risk is taking care of your whole person. After my treatments, I tried Tai Chi, then belly dance, as well as swimming, treadmill, and weights to get back in shape. Here are some free and low-cost ways to start healing your whole person.
