Whether you suffer from heartburn once a month or once a week, there are times when you want quick relief from that burning sensation. Below are a few quick relief options.

Apple Cider Vinegar
Some people have reported that natural apple cider vinegar works for them, and helps relieve heartburn. They theorize that heartburn occurs because there isn't enough stomach acid, and taking apple cider vinegar brings the stomach acid level up, allowing the stomach to digest food properly and causing heartburn to subside. However, other people state that lower stomach acid is not the cause of heartburn. Read more

Baking Soda
Baking soda is a natural antacid. If you dissolve a teaspoon of baking soda in 8 ounces of water, it can neutralize stomach acid and temporarily alleviate heartburn caused by acid reflux. Read more

Chewing Gum
