As the weather gets cooler and back-to-school madness ensues, you may find it more and more difficult to set aside time for exercise. However, with a bit of planning ahead and creativity, you can forgo heading into hibernation, and instead stay active all season long.

Walking Through The Weather
Going for a brisk walk or jog outdoors is not only refreshing, but also gets your heart pumping and can be an excuse to get moving with friends and family. Here are 10 ways to enjoy an autumn walk.

Move It Indoors
Getting your workout on indoors doesn't have to mean boring weight lifts or staring at the time counter on your treadmill. Being creative helps you stay motivated, and therefore more likely you'll keep the activity up in the long run. Get started with these creative cardio and strength training exercises.

Working Out The Mental Health Benefits
You may only associate activity with weight loss or muscle gain, but there are enumerable reasons to exercise. For me, on a daily basis it's mostly about burning stress, not calories. Staying active may also have a bigger impact on your brain health, including reducing the risk of Alzheimer's.

Track Your Intensity
While lifting your fork to your mouth doesn't count as activity, you can certainly get a workout by doing everyday tasks. Try using the talk test as a way to measure if you're working out too hard, or not enough.
