How many times a week do you do yoga? If it's once or twice, you are probably feeling a little sore after each class and maybe not getting the full benefit of yoga's cumulative effects. If you can manage to squeeze in a short yoga routine most days, you will really notice the difference when you get on your mat for a longer session.

10 Poses to Do Daily
The best way to make sure you get your recommended daily dose of yoga is to establish a short, consistent stretching routine that you can do every day, ideally soon after getting up in the morning. These are my ten poses; customize to make it work for you.

Pose of the Week - Straight Leg Lunge
Admittedly, the straight leg lunge is not really a lunge. And I may have made it up. But that doesn't keep it from being a great warm-up pose for the hips and hamstrings. From a traditional low lunge, just straighten the front leg and there you have it.
