How Long Can an Exercise Break Last Before Losing Fitness?
A while ago, I got an email from a client I hadn't seen in, oh, about three years.  She said "I don't think I've worked out since the last time I saw you.  Please punish me with endless pushups and burpees."

First, you should never request to be punished with exercise.  Your trainer already knows to do that.  Second, if you've gone on a break, you really can get all that fitness back...it just takes awhile.
