From Lisa Fayed, your Guide to Cancer
Hair loss can be devastating. We don't realize how much a role our hair plays in appearance until we lose it. In this week's newsletter, we'll talk about coping with hair loss. I especially want to know how each of you coped with losing your hair. Below, I ask you to share your story and photo, if you are comfortable, about chemotherapy related hair loss.

How Did You Cope With Chemotherapy Related Hair Loss?
Hair loss is probably one of the most dreaded side effects of chemotherapy. There is nothing you can do to prevent it from happening. It's just one of those things you have to live with during treatment. We want to know about how you coped with losing your hair during chemotherapy. Share your story with fellow readers and if you'd like, you can submit "Before and During" chemotherapy pictures. Show off your favorite hair piece, scarf, hat, or submit a photo of you without a head covering.

Should You Be Screened for Ovarian Cancer?

Women are often diagnosed at later stages, increasing the need for effective ovarian cancer screening. Screening tests are available, but aren't recommended for all women.
