The title of this week's newsletter, "Finding Reasons to Exercise," seems appropriate for those of us who just experienced the punch-in-the-face that we call losing an hour because of Daylight Saving Time. And, for the record, I think it should be Daylight Savings Time, but I'm not in charge of that.
So, if you woke up this morning and felt like you'd rather stab yourself in the eye with a white-hot poker than get up and workout and you got up and worked out anyway, you get a bazillion extra points for that. What do you get for those points? A reward.
When your brain clears, take some time to plan a reward for doing your workout today, even though it was really, really hard. My reward: I'm setting aside 30 minutes today to rest, sleep, stare out the window or play mindless computer games. What about you?
