From Pam Stephan, your Guide to Breast Cancer
Breast cancer didn't just threaten my life - it challenged my self image. Although I have survived, I am not the same as I was before my diagnosis. But that's a good thing.

The Victoria's Secret Catalog Never Stops Coming
Jennie Nash had a mastectomy at age 35 and chose a type of breast reconstruction that required microsurgery. She was very happy with the results, so much so that she wrote a book about her experience. I really liked her well-written and practical book.

My Body Image Is Ordinary
My body is different now, and even though I will never win the Mrs. America contest, my family and our dogs think I'm the greatest! Ah, there's no substitute for love. How do you feel about your body now, if you've had reconstruction? Feel like a taking a Poll? Let me know what you think about the new you.

Breast Reconstruction, Breast Prostheses or Go Natural?
During treatment, I met a woman who had a double mastectomy while single handedly raising 3 young boys. She skipped reconstruction and still feels fashionable without breasts and bras. I've also met women who had reconstruction that gave them larger breasts than they had before cancer. Turns out that attitude and personal choice plays a huge role in the decision-making process.

5 Types of Breast Reconstruction Surgery
It's amazing how plastic surgeons can shrink your hips and tummy - then move that skin and fat up to your breast area. But it's also pretty nice what implants can do, for those of us who don't have a lot of fat to go around. There's a choice for almost everybody.
