When spring rolls around, I always feel like it's time to start toning by upping my strength training. Here are three ways to work on your arms in preparation for tank-top weather.

Yoga Workout for Arms
Poses where your arms bear your body's weight will strengthen and define your upper arms. Here's an arm strengthening sequence you can do at home.

Dolphin Sequence
A great way to get into your deltoids. Do a few of these as a warm up before working on arm balances.

Crow Pose - Bakasana
The best way to get comfortable with this arm balance is to practice it consistently. That means taking a few minutes to try it at home every single day, not just when your teacher decides to teach it.

Pose of the Week - Garland Pose - Malasana
Lately, I've been finding myself doing a lot of garland poses as I work in my yard, clearing out the weeds and preparing for planting things. I love it when yoga poses come in handy!
