There is lots to stress about this time of year (the weather, travel, traveling in the weather, etc.) and not a lot of time to unwind. Here are some surprisingly effective quick fixes.

Downward Facing Dog
Here's your go-to pose: downward facing dog. Just a few minutes spent stretching out your hamstrings and shoulders will do you a world of good. Teach it to your whole family.

Ujjayi Breath
Ujjayi breath is a deep breathing technique in which the back of the throat is toned as you inhale and exhale through the nose. If you've not practiced this breath before, deep breaths through the nostrils will also do the trick.

Pose of the Week - Child's Pose - Balasana
The perfect antidote to holiday madness? Child's pose. Do it at the office, in the airport, and most of all in your childhood bedroom at your mom's house. It's the cure for everything.
