Eating fat doesn’t mean you’ll get fat, lifting weights doesn’t make women bulky, and coffee isn’t bad for you. Coffee doesn’t stunt your growth, it doesn’t increase your cancer risk, and it doesn’t increase your risk of early death. In fact, a recent review of 36 studies found that people who consumed three to five cups of coffee per day were at the lowest risk of cardiovascular problems. Another analysis of 11 studies and half a million people found that two to six daily cups of joe had a reduced risk of stroke.
