Bringing up the 'R' word on February 4th is a dangerous thing...mostly because, by the time February rolls around, many of us have completely abandoned whatever goals we set at the beginning of the year.

It all seems so simple in January, doesn't it? So doable. Then, all of a sudden, February is here and it's dark and cold and depressing and we realize we haven't left the couch in three days.

If you're on a downward exercise spiral, you can stop it. All you really need is an attitude adjustment.

I find that planning a tropical vacation is the perfect motivation to adjust one's attitude, don't you?
