 | Last month, partly inspired and partly annoyed by a study about the impact of drug use on sexual behavior, I asked you what your favorite sexual metaphor was. In a write up of the study the term "sexual performance" was used over and over, and I complained about what a poor metaphor performance is for sex. Today I'm taking it all back. Or at least I take back the idea that it HAS to be a bad metaphor. Sex educator Karen B.K. Chan has a proposal for sexual performance that turns the drug study on its head (but in a good way, not in a mean, I'm-making-you-stand-on-your-head-because-you-did-too-many-drugs way.
