I used to get irritated when I'd see holiday decorations in the stores mere days after Halloween was over, but now I've come to realize that there's something to planning early.  Here are some plan-ahead strategies that work--use them and stress less this holiday season.  Enjoy!

Where To Go For The Holidays
Now is the time to decide where to go for Thanksgiving (if you haven't already) and possibly the other holidays you celebrate in the coming season. For some of you, that will be easy, but for some, it might be a more complicated endeavor of deciding which family members to see and when, or whether to stay home for the holidays. When family conflict enters the picture, things can become even more complicated. Decide now, and lock in your travel plans (or your stay-at-home plans, as the case may be), and save yourself the stress of a last-minute decision.Read more

Holiday Shopping Made Simple
If you wait too long to get your gifts for people, you may find yourself paying more than you need to (by missing out on sales that may be going on now), or buying the wrong thing because you become exhausted from shopping and want to get it all over. You may also find yourself putting everything on a credit card and starting the new year off with more debt than you'd care to have, because you're buying everything at once.
