 | Last week there was a flurry of articles and blog posts about the g-spot, all responding in one way or another to the latest non-newsworthy journal article that reported on the dissection of an 83-year old woman's pelvic region and attempt to "prove" that the g-spot exists. I say it's not newsworthy because regardless of what you think of it, it's one study and one body. And if the claim weren't about a part of the body that is so linked to sexual pleasure in the public imagination, it's hard to imagine there would be so much news. Maybe if it were dissection of one set of hands that had stigmata journalists would be as eager to report on it. So sex or religion, pleasure or miracles. Take your pick. ~ Cory | |
