From Pam Stephan, your Guide to Breast Cancer
My sister is an "early adopter" when it comes to new gadgets. She and I used to play with Barbies, but now we chat over our iPads and text between our smartphones. That's fun, but there is an educational side to all that technology, and it includes breast health apps.

Apps to Teach and Remind You About Breast Self-Exams
Aren't sure you remember how to do your monthly breast self exam? Well, I tried 7 free apps that teach you, remind out, educate you, and entertain you. Pretty good for free stuff, I'd say. Find one that's right for you, or tell me about a health app that you really like.

How To Do a Breast Self Exam (BSE)
Here are 6 simple steps and some tips to make doing your breast exam a cinch. It's good to be regular about your BSE, so you will know which changes are cyclical and which are unusual. Doing your BSE is a proactive way to monitor your breast health.

Having a Clinical Breast Exam
Your family doctor or ob/gyn can do a clinical breast exam for you. This is a good time to ask about changes in your breasts and to discuss screening methods to find out what's going on in your breast tissue. And, if you're unsure of just exactly how to do your own breast exam - ask your doctor for help.

The Ins and Outs of Nipple Changes
Nipple are pretty sensitive, and when you get infections, bruises, or plugged pores, they can really hurt! When you do your BSE, don't skip your nipples. They are very important to your milk system and your breast health. Know what changes to keep an eye on.
