| The first week after New Year's is always a little depressing, especially when you wake up and it's eleventy billion degrees below zero. The holidays? Have officially ended and with quite the bang. The parties are over, but that doesn't mean we have to kill ourselves with crazy workouts and diets to get back on track. In fact, doing so will only make you feel worse. Why punish yourself when the weather is doing a fine job for you? Whether you're making resolutions or not, make this the year you take it nice and slow. One option is to try my #30in30 challenge over at Twitter, which starts today. You start with one exercise and, each day, you'll add on an exercise until you're doing 30 exercises in 30 days for 30 minutes. Clever, no? Follow me @AboutExercise if you're interested. I've even included video workouts with this challenge, so you can follow along with me. Check out my intro video for more and stay warm out there, y'all. It's going to be a bumpy winter! |
