From Pam Stephan, your Guide to Breast Cancer
The bad news is that you can't cure breast cancer just by eating broccoli all day long. The good news is that broccoli has lots of cancer-fighting stuff in it. So eat your broccoli anyway. Here's a plateful of good stuff:

Steam Some Broccoli -
Broccoli has a compound that cuts down breast cancer tumors at their roots - their stem cells - in lab experiments. That makes broccoli more appealing, right? Yeah, I know: you're going to drown it in cheese sauce anyway.

Toast Some Walnuts -
So instead of cheese sauce on your broccoli, try it with some lightly toasted walnut pieces. If you stir-fry those florets with walnuts in some sesame oil, you'll get a crunchy serving with double the antioxidants, additional fiber, and almost no fat.

Mince Some Garlic -
Add some freshly smashed or minced garlic to your broccoli stir-fry, and you benefit from anti-inflammatory and antibiotic compounds. Not to mention that you won't be pestered by the neighborhood vampires.

Serve Over Brown Rice.
While the broccoli is still bright green, fragrant with garlic, and sprinkled with walnuts, ladle some brown rice into a bowl. Cover the whole-grain rice with your stir-fry mixture and enjoy! You've just created a wonderful anticancer dish.
