Avoiding Added Sugars
Added sugars are frequently in the news because studies show people who eat diets with too much sugar have a greater risk of being overweight or obese and subsequently they're more likely to suffer from cardiovascular disease.

High Fiber Foods
Choosing foods that are high in fiber is a great way to maintain your weight and keep your digestive system healthy. High-fiber foods essentially include whole vegetables, whole fruits and whole-grain products.

Omega-3 Fats
I know fats can be confusing; which ones are bad and how bad are they? And which ones are good? One of the good fats is called omega-3 fat, and you're probably not getting enough of it in your diet.

Eating healthy foods really isn't a diet in the way we think of weight loss diets and fad diets, it's the foods you eat. Your diet is just one part of your lifestyle.
