When I was in third grade, I was one of the best jump ropers in PE class. In fact, my friends practically begged me to be on their team because of my incredible endurance...also, I could remember all the jump rope rhymes (which only added to one's jump roping reputation back in the day).

Today, I could probably jump rope for approximately 15 seconds before realizing that, A) A third grade body hasn't had any injuries or surgeries or the feeling that something (and something important) is going to fall out/fall apart with the onset of high impact movement, and B) That jumping rope is hard.

In honor of my third grade self and the fact that my adult self needs more time to build that third-grade endurance (if that's even possible), I created a jump rope circuit workout that involves short jump roping sections (and I stress the word short ) with other exercises thrown in so you can work on your jumping while also working on whole body strength and endurance.

Jump roping rhymes aren't included, but are highly encouraged.
