When will my baby be born?  
Your due date is an estimate of when your baby will be born. This magical number is calculated at the beginning of your pregnancy typically using your last menstrual cycle. So it may be calculated in other ways, like using an ultrasound or ovulation calendar.

 It is also important to remember that your due date is not an expiration date. Your pregnancy can safely go at least two weeks past your due date in a normal healthy woman with a healthy baby and a healthy pregnancy.  Inducing labor in this scenario, often increases risk with no added benefit for baby for mom.
