November is Diabetes Awareness Month

November is American Diabetes Month, and it's a great opportunity to raise awareness, not only for people who have or are close to people with diabetes, but the huge number that are at risk.  We now know that most adults in the U.S. are now on the diabetes spectrum. That doesn't even count the people with "pre-prediabetes" - people who haven't crossed the line into prediabetes or metabolic syndrome, but for whom the disease process has already begun.  The thing is that we absolutely know that a reduced-carbohydrate diet can help stabilize blood sugar and help people avoid the devastation that diabetes often causes.  So November is a great time to spread the word!  Let's do it!  Laura
