Bipolar Disorder Bipolar Disorder Symptoms / Diagnosis Treatment Coping and Support From Marcia Purse, your Guide to Bipolar Disorder This weekend I'll be attending the 2010 Annual Conference of the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance. It's my chance to hear Kay Redfield Jamison speak in person, and you can imagine I'm excited! But I need your help to make a couple of decisions. DBSA 2010 Annual Conference - Your Input Needed There are 5 sets of breakout sessions at this conference, and I can't decide which session to attend at a couple of sets. For example, at one set of sessions I have to choose between the subjects of stigma, tools and strategies for managing bipolar disorder, or mood disorders in late teens/early 20s. Tell me what you would choose. Help - Family Won't Understand Neena, a reader at the About Bipolar Disorder Facebook page, asked this question: "How do you get your family to understand? They won't even read about it!" Any ideas? Marijuana Use and BP to be Studied This one has me puzzled. The parameters of the study - at least as they have been published - seem awfully limited, and worse, I found out about it from an article with an overly sensational headline: "Marijuana Use = Bipolar Disorder?" What do you think?
