| | Why shopping makes you fat: - You drive to the mall and end up circling around a packed parking lot for 20 minutes to find a space
- When you do find a space, some (insert expletive here) zips in and steals it
- When you finally get into the mall, you can barely push through the crowd to get to the Apple store to buy your loved one the new iThing
- The press of the crowd is making you sweat and you can't even get close to one of those iThings to try it out. Why did you wear this stupid winter coat? Who are all these people?
- You must get out of here. Screw the Christmas presents. The kids will just have to do without them this year.
- Dazed and confused, you stumble into the nearest bar where you pound several margaritas and a slab of lasagna the size of a small country.
- You follow that up with a piece of chocolate cake because, heck, you're going to need something to help you deal with the traffic on the way home, right?
- You realize you have to do this all over again next weekend.
