Many people assume that a low-carb diet is a high-protein diet, but the recent trends seem to be towards an emphasis on the fat in the diet. One of the delights of going on the annual Low-Carb Cruise is meeting a lot of happy people from Sweden who follow what they call the LCHF diet (Low-Carb High-Fat). I swear they put extra butter on almost everything on their plates! On the other hand, protein is important in our diets, and we'll take a look at that, too.
