From Pam Stephan, your Guide to Breast Cancer
Do certain colors make you sick? If you see the nurse approaching with a needle, do you blanch? And does just thinking about chemo give you nausea? There's a name for that, and it is a real problem!

Banish The Green Feeling That Comes Before Chemo!
I used to feel nauseous if I just drove by my oncologist's office. In fact, being within a block or so of the local chemo parlour make me feel ill. All these symptoms, without even taking chemo! If you've ever felt this way, take heart - you aren't crazy - it is called anticipatory nausea and vomiting, and it can be treated.

Chemotherapy Basics for Breast Cancer
When I was diagnosed and the oncologist prescribed chemo, I said okay, but only if I can have the kind of drugs that won't make me bald. He didn't have any of those. But he did give me a combination of drugs to kill off my breast cancer. I guess you can't have everything!

Chemobrain, a Side Effect of Chemotherapy
The mental fog that sometimes comes with chemo is a documented side effect. It's not just your imagination - it's real and can be bothersome. On the other hand, if you play your cards just right, it can be the ultimate excuse for any goofs you make!
