From Shereen Jegtvig, your Guide to Nutrition
This week, I'll talk about sea salt verses regular salt. I'll also talk about whether or not you should go gluten-free and offer tips on making healthy snacks.

Have a great week.

Shereen

Sea Salt or Regular Salt?
Sea salt has become a trendy condiment. And not just at upscale restaurants - even Wendy's serves French fries with sea salt.

Should You Go Gluten-Free?
Gluten-free foods (without wheat, rye or barely flour) are becoming more popular. If you look through your grocery store, you're likely to find a lot of gluten-free products that weren't there a year or two ago and gluten-free items are appearing on menus in many restaurants.

Healthy Snacks
Snacking can be good for you, or not, depending on what you eat (and how much). You can keep hunger at bay between meals and get extra nutrition by choosing nutrient-dense foods, or you can nosh on energy-dense foods and pack on the pounds quickly if you're not careful.

Foods to Gain Weight
A reader asks, "I'm trying to gain weight but I'm not sure what foods I should eat. Is it okay to eat more chips, soda and fast food? Can you help me? "
