This is an important question for low-carbers, because we eat so much fresh food. A recent study came out that was interpreted by many in the media to mean "there is no difference". Is this correct? No, not really.

Does a a low-carb honey cake sound like a contradiction in terms? I've made this yummy low-carb and gluten-free cake with just a little dark honey for Rosh Hashanah, but it's just as good without it, as a nice, autumnal spice cake, with only 3 grams of net carb per slice.
