Getting past the 4th of July means one thing: Summer is almost over and you only have a few weeks to cram in as much fun as possible before the world ends (or, as we call it, "Back to School."). While you're cramming in all this fun, you may be forgetting about that little thing called exercise.
Yes, it's hard to workout when it's hot. Yes, it's hard to workout when your summer schedule gets hectic. Yes, it's much more fun to sit on the deck with a glass or three of wine than it is to go for a hot, sweaty run.
But won't you enjoy that wine a lot more if you've done your workout that day?
The painful truth about exercise is that you still have to do it, even when it's hard. The upside is that you prove to yourself you can stay committed to your workouts, no matter what's going on.
That and the wine, of course.
