| | "A calorie is a calorie", we hear over and over again. What the speaker is usually trying to say is that it doesn't matter where our calories come from, just how many of them we eat. But what if calories from different sources have very different effects in our bodies? This past week there was a very interesting study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association about this that has people talking all over the country. I found it fascinating.
