From Fiona Haynes, your Guide to Low Fat Cooking
Instead of polishing off a pint of premium ice cream, and regretting it afterwards, try some of these low fat, low-calorie fruit-filled icy treats, which are perfect for kids of all ages.

Strawberry Sorbet
Pretty much fat free, sorbet is the perfect dessert for hot sunny days. Use fresh in-season strawberries if you can, but when strawberries are out of season, it's best to use frozen ones.

Blueberry Sorbet
Blueberries make for a gorgeous, intensely purple sorbet. If, like me, you don't have an ice cream maker, a second stint in the blender or food processor improves the texture of the sorbet to make it smoother.

Orange Creamsicles
Bursting with orange flavor, these popsicles make a wonderful cooling summertime treat for kids of all ages. Use calcium-fortified orange concentrate for an extra nutritional boost.

Strawberry Popsicles
These strawberry popsicles are easy to make, even if you don't have a popsicle mold. Low in calories and fat, you needn't feel guilty about this summer treat.
