From Cory Silverberg, your Guide to Sexuality
Living in the world, among the people, requires compromise. There is no life without compromise. And yet when people share with me stories of their own sexual compromises I often hear about the judgement they experience from others. As if our sex lives are somehow separate from the rest of our lives, and sex should remain some sort of idealized hallowed act, untouched by the messy realities of our daily lives. It may look that way in the movies, but in real life we are having sex WHILE living. Our whole lives touch our sex lives, and compromise is inevitable and not at all a bad thing. ~ Cory

Making Sexual Compromises
Compromising is not the same thing as settling, and while we may do one or the other or both, what seems as important as what we do is making sure that we're making choices that are as informed and free as possible. If you've found yourself regretting a sexual compromise, or judging someone else for a compromise they've made, read up.

What Is Sex Drive?
Some call it sexual instinct, others call it libido, and maybe it's just another way of describing the desire for sex. We pretend like we all have it in more or less equal measure, but as usual the reality is far more complicated than that.
