From Fiona Haynes, your Guide to Low Fat Cooking
Yogurt is a terrific substitute for sour cream and other higher-fat dairy products in a number of recipes from dips to sauces. Try Greek nonfat yogurt, which is widely available at grocery stores. This kind of yogurt tends to be naturally thick and creamy.

10 Ways to Use Low Fat Yogurt
Slash fat and calories by using low-fat yogurt in place of sour cream, cream, and mayonnaise in savory dishes. Use it in and on desserts, and in all kinds of other recipes, too. Fat-free yogurt can also be used in many recipes, especially nonfat Greek yogurt, which is naturally thick and creamy, and holds up well in cooked dishes.

Yogurt for Dessert
Still on the subject of yogurt, think about replacing the many higher-fat or artificial creamy toppings you use on desserts with a spoonful of tangy yet delicious yogurt.

Strawberry Yogurt Popsicles
These strawberry yogurt popsicles are so easy to make. If you don't have popsicle molds, simply use 3-ounce paper cups. Once you've poured in the mixture, cover the top of the cup with foil wrap, and poke a popsicle stick into it. After freezing the popsicle, tear off the paper cup and enjoy your frozen strawberry treat

Banana Mango Smoothie
Yogurt makes a great addition to a fruit based smoothie, such as this refreshing banana mango smoothie.
