From Marcia Purse, your Guide to Bipolar Disorder
It's a lot more fun to go trick-or-treating than it is to be one who hands out the goodies. (I won't go into how annoying I find the whole thing.) It's also got to be more fun to be the vampire than the victim. And the people who feed on you or dump their poison on you enjoy that a LOT more than you do. Since Halloween is coming, it's a good time to look at the monsters of everyday life - the toxic people.

Bipolar Disorder Symptoms in Women
Bipolar disorder affects as many women as men. Here's a look at some symptoms and how they may appear in women, including symptoms of mania and hypomania, bipolar depression, and mixed episodes.

Monster Stories:

Does Sting Have Bipolar Disorder? You Decide
From a statement he made in a 1996 interview, the actor/musician Sting, who was born Gordon Sumner, has been put on list after list of famous people with bipolar disorder. Should he be on those lists? Is he manic-depressive? I've done the research. You decide.

About.com Bipolar Disorder on Facebook
This page seems to be a well-kept secret, yet it gives you a chance to answer questions I post several times a week - the last one was "If you have bipolar 2, is your hypomania usually euphoric or irritable?" - and see, react and respond to others' comments. Sometimes my questions are a little off-the-wall, but then, aren't we all a little odd sometimes? Anyway - "like" the page and join in the community!
