Adjustments Poll: Yea or Nay?

Pose of the Week - Easy Pose - Sukasana
Featuring sukasana this week gives me the chance to share one of my favorite yoga tricks. In seated postures like this, our teachers often tell us to stack the shoulders over the hips in order to bring the spine into good alignment. But how can you tell when the shoulders are over the hips? A lot of us unconsciously lean a little forward or a little back. If you close your eyes in this pose and allow yourself to sway the torso forward and back over the hips, you start to get a sense of what the middle feels like. Make your movements smaller and smaller until you come into stillness in what feels like the center.
