Sometimes it seems as though our brains and bodies are booby-trapped to sabotage our best intentions regarding our health. How can we make permanent changes when temptations seem to lie around every corner? I have some thoughts about that! Also, if your doctor is reaching for the statin prescription due to LDL cholesterol, there are some reasons to take a deep breath first if you're following a low-carb diet. How to Resist Temptation
Why do some people seem to have no problem passing up the doughnuts, while others struggle so much? I've recently written about this in my first monthly column for Carbsmart.com.
