 | How would you describe what sex feels like to someone who has never had sex before? Would you imagine one particular encounter and try to generalize? Would you start with masturbation and try to build out the differences between sex when you're alone in the room and sex when there's another body there with you? Do you describe the best sex you ever had, the worst sex you ever had, or sex that you think seemed statistically average? This was a question I received a while back and recently revisited it to evaluate my response. | October is LGBT History Month
We really should call it "histories" month, since it's hardly a single experience being lesbian, gay, or bisexual, and being trans (which is about gender and not sexual orientation) is another kind of experience with it's own kinds of histories. Still it's a good time to learn and remember.
