From Laura Dolson, your Guide to Low Carb Diets
The stores are full of candy, and it can be very tempting. "Treat", I guess means "sugar" at this time of year. It doesn't have to be that way, though! Some people find that if they have sugar-free sweets in the house they are less likely to succumb to sugary treats. If you're planning to make sugar-free treats, it's good to make sure you have the ingredients on hand, especially if they are special and need to be ordered. Why not experiment this weekend? Have a good one - Laura

Easy Sugar-Free Fudge
This chocolate-peanut butter fudge is made with no cooking and few ingredients. You can easily vary how sweet it is to your own taste.

Sugar-Free Peanut Butter Cups
With link to a how-to video if you are hesitant to try it. One reviewer wrote, "I'm just blown away by how great this recipe is!"

Low-Carb Rum (or not) Balls
You can whip these treats up in 5 minutes. Vary the amount and kind of liquor to taste -- for a non-alcoholic treat, the rum can be replaced with water or sugar-free flavored syrup (Kahlua-flavored syrup is nice).
