Prior to March 2nd, well-established criteria to identify patients with polymyalgia rheumatica did not exist. Polymyalgia rheumatica is a type of vasculitis. 
A study of 81 men taking daily opioids to control chronic pain revealed that men on long-acting or sustained-release opioids were nearly 5 times more likely to have low testosterone levels than men taking short-acting or immediate-release opioids. 
Fibromyalgia is a condition characterized by body aches, pain, sleep problems, extreme fatigue, depression and anxiety, in combination with tenderness of specific areas on the body. 
How did your family react when they found out you had arthritis? As human nature would dictate, I'll bet some family members were frightened for you. Others likely felt they didn't know enough about arthritis. And the remainder may have worried silently so you couldn't see how concerned they were.
