I was training a client last week and, when I asked if she'd done her workouts that week, she said no. When I asked why, she informed me, "Exercise is boring."

I nearly launched into my usual exercise-is-good-for-you lecture but the look on her face suggested that wouldn't fly with her (probably because she's heard it too many times before). Instead, I suggested she look for ways to make her workouts more fun - Maybe trying one of the many fitness apps or exercise websites out there that are designed to pump a little life into your workouts.

"Is that all you've got?" She asked, a skeptical look on her face.

"Pretty much," I admitted.
