Many of the symptoms of panic disorder can be extremely difficult to cope with. Panic attacks, the main feature of panic disorder, can involve both challenging physical and psychological symptoms. These symptoms often share similarities to other conditions, making it difficult to determine if it is related to your experience with panic disorder or not. Chest Pain
Chest pain is very common and frightening symptom of panic disorder that often occurs during a panic attack or at times of extreme anxiety. Many people who have chest pain during a panic attack will end up in the emergency room, often in fear that they are having a medical emergency. Depersonalization and Derealization
During a panic attack, a person may fear that they are going insane and that they are possibly dying.
