Why are the French and Japanese really thinner than Americans? A new mathematical model out of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln might have an answer, reporting that if Americans ate the same amount of calories as they’re eating now, but on the diet of a French, Mediterranean or Japanese person, they’d lose weight.
